I lived in an apartment for 3 weeks in September, during which time there were multiple issues (gas leaks, flea infestation, mold, psycho neighbors in same building, etc). I found out today he got served papers telling him I'm suing him for 3 grand on Christmas eve. I hate to say this pleased me but I'd be lying if I said it didn't. He told me, when deciding to blame me for all that went wrong and not refund my security deposit, 'You won't sue me, you're not gonna wanna go through the time and expense of all that.' Wrong again dipshit. I may lose, but I think I have a strong case. I have mountains of evidence and an attorney. Maybe it's having my son and how the thought of someone stealing money from him angers me so, but I'm not gonna let it go. Oh no no no, no way. I know he's ripped off multiple people and gotten away with it. Hopefully I get some justice, although being in CT I know that's not likely. I haven't lived here in over 10 years though, so there is a tiny possibility the system is not as corrupt as when I left. At that time, no matter the situation, whoever had the most money won.
